Winter Blast 2009

That title kills me.... here are some photos from around our house.

Thankfully we did not have any damage to our house. Gary moved his truck just in time to miss a limb coming down on it. But some of our neighbors were not quite as lucky as us. They will be cleaning up for weeks. And thank God after 5 days we got our power back.

I hope this is the last of the winter weather for this year.

Family Obsession?!?!?

What have we been doing since Christmas?????? Well... We have been playing the Wii!!!!

Notice that even Owen gets into it. Ashton's favorite game: Mario Cart. Trevor and Gary's fave is Legos: Star Wars the Complete Saga. I have even stayed up until 2am playing..... it is very addictive.

Owen had his 2 month check up Thursday, December 18th. He weighs in at 14 lbs and 7.7 ozs. His length was 23.25 inches. So since birth he has gained almost 5 lbs and grown 2.25 inches taller. He does love his food, but we had to change the kind of bottles we were using. We are now using the drop in bottles. It has helped a lot with his spitting up and tummy aches. He also got shots at the doctor's office. He did pretty well, only cried while they were happening. Once I picked him up he stopped.

I was later reading in a book about average growth of babies and it read that 8 months old weigh in at 14.5 lbs to 17.5 lbs. So I have a two month old that can take on an eight month old.

All I care about is that he is healthy and that he is!

Owen Is 2 Months Old

It is unbelievable that it was two months ago when Owen joined the family. He is growing like a weed.

Team Inferno

As many of you may know Trevor plays soccer with City Stars here in Jonesboro. This last season his coaches were Chrissie and Pam and Team Inferno placed 3rd. Past seasons his team has gotten 2nd and 3rd places. Trevor is still waiting for that big 1st place trophy. Maybe in the Spring!
